IT External Audit Manager

About the role

PwC’s Acceleration Center in Buenos Aires is seeking an IT External Audit Manager to lead assurance engagements on clients’ digital environments. You will provide independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls, cybersecurity measures, data and AI systems, and related governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead teams in evaluating regulatory compliance, governance and risk‑management processes for digital assets.
• Manage client service accounts, supervise engagement workstreams and solve complex audit problems.
• Analyse system components and interactions to enhance digital assurance services.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for auditing methodologies and IT‑governance frameworks.
• Utilise cloud engineering and AI platforms to improve data quality and validation processes.
• Coach and mentor junior staff, leveraging individual strengths to meet client expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading audit or assurance teams in a digital context.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and ensure project success.
• Demonstrated integrity, authenticity and commitment to PwC’s values.
