IT Desktop Support Engineer – Buenos Aires Province

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Buenos Aires Province. The role focuses on providing end‑user computing (EUC) support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operation of desktop environments for internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system problems on desktops, laptops, printers and peripheral devices.
• Perform on‑site “smart‑hands” support for networking equipment such as monitors, routers, switches and printers.
• Maintain and configure LAN/WAN connections, TCP/IP settings, DNS, DHCP, VPN and RDP sessions.
• Administer Windows, macOS and Linux workstations, including patching and user profile management.
• Create, update and close tickets using ServiceNow or Remedy, ensuring timely communication with users.
• Assist with equipment moves and upgrades, handling devices up to 50 lb.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure and desktop support.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Proactive problem‑solver with flexible availability for shift work if needed.

Required skills

• Hardware troubleshooting and desktop/laptop repair.
• Printer and peripheral support.
• LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, RDP.
• Windows, macOS and Linux operating system administration.
• Ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba) – preferred.
