HSE Manager II – Salta Site

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager II to lead health, safety and environment activities on our Salta site. The role reports to project leadership and ensures the HSE Management System is fully integrated into project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Champion a strong safety culture and drive engagement across the project.
• Identify, evaluate and resolve HSE issues throughout all project phases.
• Coordinate HSE activities with construction engineers of various disciplines.
• Develop, maintain and enforce HSE procedures and ensure contractor compliance.
• Plan and conduct internal HSE audits of contractor work, issue audit reports and follow up on corrective actions.
• Review and approve the Project HSE plan and control procedures.
• Verify that contractor HSE personnel hold appropriate qualifications.
• Audit vendor and sub‑vendor HSE systems and highlight critical issues to project management on a weekly or daily basis.
• Lead incident investigations, communicate findings and provide lessons learned.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance against HSE targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in HSE management roles.
• Willingness to work on a 14‑day on/14‑day off roster in Salta Province.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
