HR Operations Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an HR Operations Coordinator to support our fast‑growing fintech team across LATAM, the US and Europe. You will partner closely with the People Ops Lead, founders and hiring managers to manage the full employee lifecycle and help build our People Operations function from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end onboarding for global hires, including contract preparation, data collection, equipment coordination and access provisioning.
• Run pre‑boarding communications, maintain new‑hire trackers and keep the HRIS as the single source of truth for headcount.
• Manage off‑boarding processes: resignation/termination paperwork, final pay, equipment return, knowledge transfer and exit interviews.
• Coordinate with legal counsel to issue compliant contracts and maintain country‑specific policy templates.
• Liaise with payroll providers in LATAM, handle monthly cycles, change requests and salary slip distribution.
• Support benefits enrollment, renewal and relocation package tracking.
• Produce regular and ad‑hoc HR reports, analyse metrics and assist decision‑making.
• Translate and adapt policies between Spanish and English for cross‑region use.

Required profile

• 2‑3+ years of experience in an HR or People coordination role.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience with HR data, reporting or HR systems and exposure to payroll processes.
• Background in fast‑paced, international environments, preferably fintech or consumer tech startups.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to handle confidential information.
• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese a plus).
