HR Generalist

About the role

The HR Generalist will manage country‑specific human resources matters, ensuring compliance with company policies, local legislation, and regulatory requirements while supporting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Country Leaders to mitigate risk and align HR activities with global priorities.
• Educate business leaders and managers on their responsibilities as defined in the HR Service Catalogue.
• Implement consistent employee‑relations practices using uniform policies, SOPs, and templates.
• Coach managers on performance management and disciplinary actions to meet legal and company standards.
• Provide case‑management advice on disciplinary, performance, redundancy, long‑term illness, and other ER issues.
• Negotiate exit agreements and seek legal advice for complex cases.
• Maintain relationships with Works Councils and other representative bodies where applicable.
• Update local HR policies and procedures in line with legislative changes.
• Support talent development programs and global HR initiatives that require country‑specific implementation.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of local labor legislation and HR compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills for managers and employees.
• Ability to balance business needs with risk mitigation.
• Experience handling employee‑relations cases, including disciplinary and redundancy processes.
• Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement of HR practices.
