Growth & Community Manager (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Growth & Community Manager to own the strategy and execution behind community building, Alignerr growth, and user engagement. This fully remote, flexible contract role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes communities, understands what makes people engage, and can turn interest into measurable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute community growth strategies within the Alignerr network.
• Monitor community channels daily, respond to members, moderate discussions, and foster a welcoming, high‑energy environment.
• Identify and engage influencers, power users, and brand advocates to amplify reach organically.
• Design and run campaigns, challenges, AMAs, events, and initiatives that boost engagement and retention.
• Track and analyze key growth and engagement metrics, using data to iterate and improve.
• Collaborate with Growth and Targeted Recruiting teams to align community efforts with business goals.
• Build feedback loops between the community and the product team, surfacing insights, feature requests, and sentiment.

Required profile

• Natural community builder who genuinely enjoys connecting with people online.
• Proven experience growing online communities and user bases from the ground up.
• Strong written communicator with an authentic, engaging voice.
• Data‑informed decision maker who tracks meaningful metrics.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated, and reliable when working independently.
• Creative and resourceful, able to generate buzz without a large budget.

Required skills

• Experience with community platforms such as Discord and Slack.
• Proficiency in analytics tools for tracking growth metrics.
• Knowledge of email marketing and referral program design.
