Full Stack Video Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level Full Stack Video Engineer to design, build and operate the core media and streaming components of our new live‑streaming platform. The role is fully remote and focuses on delivering high‑performance, low‑latency video experiences for creators and businesses worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement and optimise real‑time streaming and media pipelines using WebRTC, Mediasoup, FFmpeg, RTMP and HLS.
• Design and maintain video processing workflows that balance quality, latency and scalability.
• Collaborate with full‑stack teams to integrate media services into Node.js/TypeScript applications.
• Identify, debug and resolve complex issues across capture, encoding, transport and playback on multiple platforms.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for streaming protocols, media servers and cloud infrastructure.
• Write reliable, tested, high‑performance code and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Review code, share best practices and mentor peers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience designing and optimising real‑time streaming or digital video systems.
• Deep knowledge of streaming protocols (WebRTC, RTMP, HLS) and codecs such as H.264.
• Proven experience with media servers (e.g., Mediasoup) and browser media APIs.
• Strong understanding of video quality metrics and low‑latency streaming architectures.
• Comfort working in Agile/Scrum environments and writing unit/system tests.
