Full Stack Engineer (Mid-level)

About the role

AgileEngine is seeking a mid‑level Full Stack Engineer to maintain and evolve a live Hiring Events platform that operates in a high‑production, real‑time environment. You will work on both backend services built with Java, Spring Boot and Kafka, and frontend experiences powered by React, while collaborating closely with Client Support and GTM teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues affecting live hiring events.
• Collaborate with Client Support and GTM teams to triage and prioritize support requests.
• Monitor production systems, respond to alerts, incidents, and performance degradation.
• Maintain and improve backend and frontend components, including architecture updates and integrations.
• Own deployments, code merges, and production releases.
• Mentor, onboard, and support new engineers joining the team.
• Use data and logs to investigate incidents and contribute to technical prioritization.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to ramp up quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (upper‑intermediate level).
