Full Stack Developer (Elixir/Phoenix & JavaScript) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Elixir/Phoenix and modern JavaScript to join our talent network and work remotely for U.S. clients across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers on customer‑facing web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full‑stack web applications using Elixir, Phoenix, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with client designers and engineers to deliver features and improvements.
• Write and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, manage source control with Git, and ensure code quality through reviews.
• Work with PostgreSQL/Ecto for data persistence and query optimization.
• Contribute to eCommerce solutions and, when needed, extend libraries or integrate Ruby on Rails components.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.

Required skills

• Elixir and Phoenix framework.
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript (including React, Vue or Phoenix LiveView as a plus).
• SQL/PostgreSQL and Ecto.
• Git and experience with CI/CD environments.
• Automated testing (unit and integration).
• Docker and remote development environments such as GitHub Codespaces.
• Ruby on Rails (experience with eCommerce applications).
