Freelance Project Manager

About the role

WPP Production is seeking a Freelance Project Manager to lead localization campaigns for a long‑term technology client. The role involves partnering with client producers, coordinating multi‑country marketing assets, and ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery across the agency’s creative, traffic, and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage localization of all channel marketing materials on the agency side.
• Orchestrate project workflows in project‑management tools to guarantee asset accuracy for multiple countries.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand channel partner structures and print vendors.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Traffic, Content, Interactive, Studio, Print Production, Finance, Operations) to align on project requirements.
• Create presentations and reports summarising campaign efficiency and performance.
• Set and manage client expectations, enforce agreed workflows, and resolve issues swiftly.
• Maintain daily trackers during live projects and flag scope changes to line managers.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and align them with both internal and client stakeholders.
• Prepare and present project documentation, agendas, timing plans, and contact reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder marketing projects.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with both clients and internal teams.
• Ability to work autonomously in a freelance capacity while meeting strict deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a strategic approach to project delivery.
