Fleet Support & Maintenance Coordinator – FMCSA Experience

About the role

We are seeking a Fleet Support & Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the safety and efficiency of a growing U.S. truck fleet. The role is fully remote, supporting drivers across GMT‑08:00 to GMT‑02:00 time zones and directly impacting operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage real‑time breakdowns and roadside assistance, coordinating repairs with shops, mechanics and vendors.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs, ensure DOT inspections and FMCSA compliance, and maintain accurate repair records.
• Assist with load‑related issues, including cross‑dock coordination, weight adjustments, cargo securement and equipment preparation.
• Utilize Fleetio, ClickUp, Datatruck and Samsara daily to track maintenance, tasks and vehicle data.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a U.S. trucking company in a non‑IT role.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA maintenance regulations and DOT inspection requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with diesel/semi‑truck diagnostics, repairs and coordinating with repair shops.
• Fluent English communication skills.
