Financial Operations Analyst

About the role

Analyst House is looking for a Financial Operations Analyst to join its fast‑moving finance team serving startup clients. You will be the front‑line contact for processing bills, sending invoices, chasing payments, and managing shared inboxes that keep client businesses running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Run accounts payable end‑to‑end: ingest vendor invoices, code them, prepare payment batches and execute payments via ACH, card, wire or vendor portal.
• Coordinate with client operations on shipment discrepancies and hold or dispute bills until resolved.
• Issue customer invoices and apply incoming payments accurately and promptly.
• Own accounts receivable aging: send dunning emails and escalate when necessary.
• Manage shared client inboxes, triage and respond to inbound vendor and customer communications.
• Reconcile corporate credit cards and invoice platform activity to the general ledger.
• Track open items and keep the client lead informed.

Required profile

• Hands‑on AP & AR experience, including bill entry, payment execution, cash application and invoicing.
• Strong collections instincts – able to chase past‑due invoices without damaging relationships.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Daily user of AI tools to improve efficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Experience using NetSuite.
• Familiarity with Ramp, Brex, Stripe, Bill.com and Xero.
