Financial Analyst (IT)

About the role

The IT Financial Analyst supports financial planning and analysis for both ongoing operations and change initiatives within a leading luxury hospitality brand. You will own budgeting, monthly close, and variance analysis while partnering with project managers and procurement teams to drive accurate forecasting and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain operating and project budgets (CAPEX/OPEX).
• Execute monthly close activities, including accruals, reclassifications and reconciliations.
• Produce variance analyses with actionable insights for leadership.
• Partner with project managers on forecasting, burn‑rate tracking, capitalization rules and benefits measurement.
• Support procurement decisions through total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling.
• Maintain a robust control environment with proper documentation, approvals and audit support.
• Publish dashboards highlighting risks, opportunities and trend signals.
• Manage Statements of Work (SOW) lifecycle, ensuring deliverables, milestones, legal terms and payment schedules are clearly defined and approved.
• Track SOW‑related expenditures, reconcile invoicing and provide regular reporting to IT leadership.

Required profile

• Experience building and maintaining CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
• Proven ability to execute monthly close processes and produce variance analyses.
• Strong analytical mindset with capability to model total cost of ownership.
• Familiarity with SOW management, including documentation, approvals and financial tracking.
