Finance Supervisor

About the role

We are expanding our finance team in Argentina and are looking for a Finance Supervisor to lead tax compliance, accounting, and financial reporting activities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with external consultants and tax authorities to file tax returns and compliance reports on schedule.
• Review local tax returns for accuracy and ensure proper tax payments.
• Assist with tax audits and resolve tax‑related issues.
• Oversee month‑end closing, accounting disclosures, and support external audits.
• Review expenses, conduct analysis, and manage payment approvals.
• Prepare and manage profit‑and‑loss and cash‑flow budgets and forecasts.
• Participate in financial projects and company‑wide initiatives.
• Maintain the Fixed Assets Register and conduct inventory stock‑takes.
• Collaborate with IT to optimise finance systems.
• Coordinate with local banks, manage financial files, identify issues, propose solutions and implement them.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 8 years of finance or accounting experience in Argentina.
• Strong knowledge of Argentine fiscal and tax regulations, local GAAP and IFRS; familiarity with China GAAP is a plus.
• Excellent English; Spanish and Chinese are advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, high sense of responsibility and a proactive learning attitude.
