Finance Controller – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Controller to join the finance team of Siemens Global Business Services (GBS) in Argentina. The position will support financial planning, analysis and controlling activities while collaborating closely with GBS business lines and finance leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Business Line Managers on planning and forecasting activities.
• Guide budget and forecast preparation for Hub and Country organizations, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to enable strategic decision‑making.
• Monitor and analyse cost trends, identify deviations and drive cost discipline.
• Prepare standard and ad‑hoc reports, scorecards, graphics and commentary.
• Participate in month‑end closing, including billing and journal entry posting.
• Ensure compliance with Siemens financial policies, IFRS standards and Argentine regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal customers and business partners across Siemens units and regional GBS functions.
• Identify process‑optimization opportunities and support digital transformation initiatives within finance.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• 2‑4 years of experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar finance role.
• Experience in FP&A, controlling and financial reporting, preferably in a shared‑services environment.
• Knowledge of AI, automation, data‑analytics or digitalisation initiatives in finance is a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Data‑analytics tools such as Power BI.
• SAP (desirable).
• Workday Adaptive (a plus).
