Field Service Team Supervisor - Argentina

About the role

Flowserve, a global manufacturer of pumps, valves, seals and aftermarket services, is hiring a Field Service Team Supervisor in Argentina. The team installs, commissions, troubleshoots and repairs Flowserve pumps and equipment for customers in oil and gas, chemical, nuclear, coal and wastewater industries. The supervisor manages day-to-day operations of the team according to client needs and business processes, and drives the six core values of People, Safety, Integrity, Ownership and Ingenuity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team's continuous development, train Field Service Technicians on all specialty equipment and balance their expertise to match the installed base.
• Recruit and retain a diverse workforce and keep succession plans in place for critical roles.
• Promote a safe work environment, support the JSEA completion, and share site hazards with the Onsite Services SHEA Manager.
• Supervise daily priorities, review and sign off Field Service Reports, and push for pump and seal upgrade opportunities.
• Keep the AMP portal up to date, validate quotations with the FST Coordinator, and ensure technicians follow standard procedures and use calibrated tools.
• Meet targeted accounts with the sales team, discuss potential upgrades, and measure PT business captured per service job.
• Reduce job close-out cycle time, support quick invoicing and collection, and escalate low-margin jobs to the Onsite Services Director.
• Work with the FST Coordinator on financial and utilization forecasts and prepare for other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• BS or BA degree in a relevant field and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Five+ years of experience in mechanical field service; supervisory or leadership experience highly preferred.
• Experience in chemical, power and/or oil and gas industries strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record; must be able to travel 50% of the time with overnight stays.

Required skills

• Skilled in the removal, repair and installation of single-stage and multistage pumps and rotating equipment.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel and other IT systems.
• Project planning for complex jobs highly valued.
