Field Service Specialist – Steam Turbine

About the role

Siemens Energy is seeking a hands‑on Mechanical Technician to provide field service on steam turbines worldwide. You will join a dedicated team responsible for the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of turbine equipment at customer sites, travelling extensively to ensure reliable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality mechanical maintenance and overhaul tasks on large or industrial steam turbines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
• Follow health, safety and quality standards on all field activities.
• Collaborate with multicultural teams and communicate clearly with customers.
• Adapt to varied working conditions and travel schedules across global locations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a mechanical technician in field maintenance.
• Strong English language skills.
• Proven knowledge of steam turbine operation and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours.
