Field Service Engineer

About the role

The Field Service Engineer will provide onsite and remote technical support for Philips healthcare equipment, ensuring performance, reliability and safety for customers across Argentina.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, upgrades, repairs and installations on Philips equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using established diagnostic tools and procedures.
• Respond to customer escalations and technical concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate service documentation through ServiceMax and other Philips systems.
• Submit service reports, worksheets, expense reports and other administrative documentation on time.
• Ensure compliance with Philips quality processes, safety standards and training requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Electronic, Systems Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 4 years of experience supporting healthcare technologies in hospital or clinical environments.
• Experience with diagnostic imaging equipment such as Digital X‑Ray (DXR) or Image‑Guided Therapy (IGT).
• Intermediate English proficiency for reading technical manuals and service documentation.
• Availability to travel throughout Argentina and work the afternoon shift (2 PM – 10 PM).
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle preferred.
