Family/General Practitioner – Primary Care Network, Nelson BC

About the role

Join a well‑established, open‑access family practice in beautiful Nelson, BC. The Primary Care Network team seeks two energetic family practitioners to provide high‑quality, continuous care to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care to attached, unattached, and visiting patients.
• Maintain prompt, efficient appointment scheduling, including extended hours and Saturday shifts.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioner, registered nurse, medical assistants, and billing specialists.
• Utilize Telus Health Wolf EMR for patient documentation and billing.
• Coordinate specialist referrals and hospital support as needed.

Required profile

• Licensed family or general practitioner with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work a minimum of three shifts per week, ranging from 24 to 40 hours.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, friendly, and supportive environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Telus Health Wolf EMR.

• Fee‑for‑service remuneration up to CAD 450,000 per year, based on volume.
