Family Practitioner / General Practitioner – Pain Management Focus

About the role

We are seeking a Family Practitioner or General Practitioner to join our well‑established clinic in Nelson. The position offers a progressive, innovative environment with flexible work options, including on‑site and virtual patient care, and a strong focus on pain management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population.
• Develop and deliver pain‑management services, with training provided if needed.
• Conduct virtual consultations for patients unable to travel.
• Utilise the clinic’s full EMR system for documentation and billing.
• Collaborate with an efficient support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Participate in practice growth initiatives and referral management.

Required profile

• Board‑certified Family Practitioner or General Practitioner.
• Interest in pain management; willingness to undergo training if not already experienced.
• Ability to work in a flexible, team‑oriented environment.
• Commitment to high‑quality patient care both onsite and remotely.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Experience or willingness to learn virtual health platforms.
