About the role

We are seeking a Family Practitioner/General Practitioner to join our well‑established clinic in Nelson. The position focuses on primary care with an emphasis on pain management, and we are willing to provide training for candidates without a pain‑management background. The clinic offers a progressive, flexible environment with full EMR support, on‑site billing, and virtual health options for patients who cannot travel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages.
• Diagnose and manage pain‑related conditions, with training available as needed.
• Utilize the clinic’s EMR system for documentation and billing.
• Participate in virtual consultations for remote patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient patient flow.

Required profile

• Medical degree and valid licensure to practice as a Family Practitioner/General Practitioner in Canada.
• Interest in pain management; willingness to undergo training if needed.
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented, flexible environment.
• Commitment to serving the Nelson community and surrounding areas.

Required skills
