About the role

We are seeking a Family Practitioner or General Practitioner to join our well‑established clinic in Nelson. The position focuses on comprehensive primary care with an emphasis on pain management, offering both in‑person and virtual patient interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality primary care to a diverse patient base.
• Deliver pain‑management services, with training available for those new to the specialty.
• Conduct virtual consultations for patients unable to travel.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the clinic’s EMR system.
• Collaborate with billing staff to ensure timely and accurate billing.

Required profile

• Medical license to practice as a Family Practitioner/General Practitioner in Canada.
• Strong interest in pain management; willingness to undergo training if needed.
• Ability to work in a flexible, innovative clinic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Experience with virtual health platforms is a plus.
