Director of Fundraising & Engagement

About the role

St George's College seeks a strategic leader to head its Fundraising & Engagement function across the Quilmes and North campuses. Reporting directly to the Principal, the Director will design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy that sustains educational programs and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead a fundraising plan aligned with the school’s strategic objectives.
• Build and nurture initiatives that involve alumni, students, families, staff, and the Old Georgian Club.
• Plan and run annual campaigns and special projects such as scholarships, infrastructure upgrades, and innovation programs.
• Create and manage donor pipelines, including monthly giving, major donors, and corporate partners.
• Assemble and oversee a technical fundraising team and coordinate external providers (CRM, digital marketing, telemarketing, creative agencies).
• Maintain donor, alumni, family, and corporate relationships through loyalty and recognition programs.
• Coordinate impact communications and ensure transparency of results.
• Monitor budget, performance reports, and fundraising KPIs.
• Introduce innovative fundraising tools, especially digital solutions and generative AI.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, International Relations or related field; postgraduate qualification in fundraising or management is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising, institutional development or similar roles, preferably in education or the social sector.
• Strong leadership, storytelling, strategic thinking and results orientation.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM and direct‑marketing tools.
• Experience running email and telemarketing campaigns.
• Knowledge of digital and traditional advertising.
• Familiarity with generative and agentic AI applications in fundraising.
