Director, Agribusiness Products – Latin America & Caribbean

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a senior leader to shape and execute its Agribusiness strategy across North and South Latin America and the Caribbean. The role will focus on key markets such as Argentina, Chile, Mexico and others, driving the adoption of digital payments and data‑driven solutions throughout the agricultural value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of agribusiness value chains and economics to create stakeholder value.
• Lead the design and execution of Mastercard’s Agribusiness strategy for the region.
• Design competitive products and platforms for buyers, suppliers, financial institutions and ecosystem enablers.
• Build and maintain relationships with cooperatives, producers, processors, financial institutions and other stakeholders.
• Identify and remove barriers to card acceptance, working with acquirers and partners to capture B2B payment flows.
• Forge partnerships and strategic alliances to scale Mastercard’s presence in the agribusiness segment.
• Monitor regional market trends, regulatory changes and technological innovations relevant to agribusiness and commercial payments.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Products, Sales, Pricing, Finance, Customer Delivery) to ensure alignment and execution.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in agribusiness, commercial payments or financial services with direct exposure to agricultural value chains.
• Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders across the agribusiness ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of B2B payment flows and digital transformation in emerging markets.
