Digital Product Attorney – Connected Commerce, Payments, and Digital Legal

About the role

JPMorgan Chase’s Consumer & Community Bank is seeking a Digital Product Attorney to join its Digital Products & Experience Legal Team in Buenos Aires. The attorney will provide legal counsel for digital commerce, payments, and customer authentication initiatives, helping to shape safe and innovative digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical, risk‑based legal guidance for digital products, customer identification, authentication, and fraud‑prevention solutions.
• Advise product teams on development strategy, emerging legal frameworks, and regulatory compliance for new use cases.
• Collaborate with senior counsel and business partners on contracts, governance approvals, and partner‑enabled capabilities.
• Review and draft customer‑facing content, disclosures, agreements, and terms and conditions to ensure clarity and compliance.
• Monitor changes in laws, regulations, enforcement trends and industry standards, and flag material risks with recommended actions.
• Support initiatives involving emerging technologies and coordinate issue escalation.

Required profile

• Qualified attorney with experience in digital product law, consumer banking, or fintech.
• Demonstrated knowledge of customer identity, authentication standards, and fraud‑prevention regulations.
• Ability to interpret and apply evolving legal and regulatory frameworks to product development.
• Strong analytical skills and capacity to provide clear, risk‑based recommendations to business teams.
