DevOps Manager

About the role

EY GDS Digital Engineering is looking for a DevOps Manager to join its EY Advisory DE team. The role supports secure cloud delivery, operational excellence and development strategy across client transformation programs. The team works with multi-disciplinary teams from around the world, offering tailored coaching and ongoing professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cloud and web architecture design, development strategy and technical delivery planning.
• Define and govern deployment, automation and DevSecOps practices across delivery teams.
• Guide teams across Azure and AWS environments, focusing on security, reliability and operational readiness.
• Oversee Azure DevOps pipelines, Git/GitHub practices, GitHub Actions, Ansible Tower, EY Building Blocks and S-SDLC adoption.
• Manage containerized platform delivery with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Drive agile delivery using Scrum, Kanban and modern engineering practices.
• Own support, ServiceNow processes, incident management and resolution, and ensure monitoring, production support and service continuity.
• Translate business and security needs into technology roadmaps, coach team members and set engineering, operational and security best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree.
• Experience leading architecture discussions, technical governance and delivery strategy across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience communicating technical conclusions in written reports and presentations (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Experience with agile delivery, rapid prototyping, reusable delivery accelerators, operational ownership and incident resolution.
• Excellent communication, presentation and teamwork skills, ability to work with globally distributed teams and handle fast-paced situations.
