DevOps Engineer

About the role

BigID is looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join its R&D platform team. You will own the production infrastructure, drive CI/CD improvements, and build automation tools that enable rapid, reliable delivery of cloud‑native services.

Key responsibilities

• Elevate the CI/CD pipeline to support high‑velocity releases.
• Design, deploy, and optimize Kubernetes (EKS) workloads on AWS.
• Build and maintain highly available production environments on AWS.
• Enhance Terraform modules and define technical direction for cloud‑native infrastructure.
• Develop automation and platform tooling using Python to improve operational efficiency.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions with Datadog, ELK, and other cloud‑native tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on testing strategy, design, and process improvements.
• Work closely with R&D teams in an Agile environment to ensure stability and reduce defects.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Self‑motivated, collaborative, and comfortable solving complex production problems.
• Strong communication skills to work with multiple teams across the organization.

Required skills

• Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration.
• AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Terraform for IaC.
• Python for automation and tooling.
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog and ELK.
• Agile development practices.
