DevOps Engineer

About the role

Sovos is looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and implement infrastructure‑as‑code and delivery‑as‑code solutions across multiple cloud platforms. You will work with modern digital technologies to enable fast, safe, and automated delivery of critical business software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain enterprise cloud solutions and Kubernetes platforms using CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply infrastructure‑as‑code methodologies across configuration, infrastructure, and orchestration stacks.
• Implement and maintain automated web‑service infrastructure, Kubernetes, and deployment processes.
• Develop automation tools for provisioning cloud‑based applications in AWS, Azure, or similar environments.
• Identify and automate repetitive processes to improve efficiency.
• Define and implement processes for software product configuration and environment management.
• Maintain tools used throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and create documentation.
• Collaborate with agile teams and promote best practices in configuration management.
• Leverage AI‑powered tools to enhance delivery pipelines and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Background in or strong interest in a DevOps or release engineering role.
• Experience or exposure to scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell.
• Familiarity with build processes for languages like C, Java, or similar.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
