DevOps Engineer

About the role

PwC is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its Infrastructure team. You will design, build and maintain secure, automated delivery pipelines that enable rapid, reliable software releases across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions/Workflows, including YAML configuration.
• Support and troubleshoot build, deployment and runtime issues across multiple environments.
• Apply core infrastructure knowledge (compute, networking, storage, cloud services) to ensure reliable deployments.
• Automate manual processes to reduce operational overhead and improve scalability.
• Work with container platforms, primarily Kubernetes (AKS) and Helm, to manage application workloads.

• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Commitment to professional standards, security best practices and continuous learning.

Required skills

• Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions/Workflows (pipeline design, YAML).
• Containerisation and Kubernetes (AKS preferred), including Helm and kubectl.
• Linux system administration and CLI troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and infrastructure fundamentals.
