Demand Planning Analyst

About the role

ExxonMobil is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to generate accurate sales forecasts that serve as the foundation for supply chain planning. The role acts as a strategic link between Sales, Marketing, and Supply, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Generate reliable forecasts using sales history, market intelligence, and system algorithms.
• Provide timely forecasts to supply teams to meet customer orders.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to understand changing customer needs and market dynamics.
• Maintain historical demand data and follow a scripted monthly demand planning cycle.
• Identify forecast improvement opportunities using system tools and monitor data quality.
• Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.
• Strong business judgment, decision‑making ability, and customer focus.
• Ability to handle high‑volume work in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate across functions.

Required skills

• SAP knowledge.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills.
• Ability to build and execute queries, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Strong data analysis capabilities.
