Demand & Launch Planner Coordinator

About the role

Lead the demand planning process for an assigned product portfolio, ensuring accurate forecasts, optimal inventory levels and alignment across commercial, supply chain and global planning teams. The role supports business continuity and service performance through proactive analysis and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve demand forecasts for assigned brands and product portfolios.
• Incorporate business assumptions, launches, promotions and market trends by coordinating with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory and Supply Chain teams.
• Balance service targets, inventory objectives and working capital requirements while ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, inventory performance and supply risks, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Support S&OP/IBP processes by providing demand insights and business recommendations.
• Collaborate with regional and global planning teams to align demand with supply capabilities and manage escalations.
• Maintain planning master data and system parameters to optimise planning effectiveness.
• Generate and analyse planning KPIs, delivering insights to support decision‑making.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and support implementation of planning tools, systems and best practices.
• Act as a key business partner across functions to ensure alignment and execution excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Pharmacy or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, supply chain or operations planning.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG or other highly regulated industries.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Advanced IT skills, including ERP and planning systems such as SAP, Kinaxis, IBP, APO or similar.
• Strong Excel and reporting tool proficiency.
