Data Specialist – Data Science (Remote, Argentina preferred)

About the role

We are looking for a Data Specialist with a strong focus on Data Science to join our remote team. You will turn complex data sets into actionable insights, build predictive models, and support data‑driven decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex data sets to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.
• Develop and deploy predictive models using machine‑learning techniques.
• Create visualizations and interactive dashboards for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other teams to embed data insights into business strategies.
• Perform data‑quality checks and validations to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations communicating findings and recommendations.
• Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis and predictive modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience working remotely is a plus.

Required skills

• Python or R programming.
• SQL, Pandas, NumPy.
• Machine‑learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Data‑visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI.
• Relational and non‑relational database knowledge.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud (preferred).
• Big‑data technologies: Hadoop, Spark (preferred).
