Data Maintenance Analyst - Finance Operations

About the role

PwC's Acceleration Center Buenos Aires is hiring a Data Maintenance Analyst (Specialist level) to support finance operations within its Internal Firm Services practice. The role covers data accuracy, record review and detailed analysis that feeds into financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and compliance. It sits alongside global teams in Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Business Services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial data maintenance across reporting and accounting processes
• Review data inputs and outputs to validate accuracy, completeness and consistency
• Support close cycle activities by tracking adjustments, resolving discrepancies and documenting follow-up actions
• Analyze balance sheet, cash flow and profit and loss data to spot patterns, variances and data quality issues
• Generate financial reports and dashboards for decision making and recurring reporting
• Apply accounting policies, internal controls and financial reporting guidance to keep data integrity
• Coordinate escalations on data issues, process gaps and control exceptions with internal teams
• Use digital tools and data mining techniques to streamline reconciliations, trend reviews and reporting
• Follow responsible information management, information security and data protection practices

Required profile

• At least a high school diploma or equivalent degree
• At least 1 year of experience
• Background in administration with an interest in master data management in financial-accounting areas
• Experience with stakeholder management preferred, ideally in a US-based corporate environment
• Oral and written English proficiency required
