Data Automation Analyst

About the role

Uproot Clean is looking for a hands‑on Data Automation Analyst to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and automated workflows that power its fast‑growing pet‑care brand. You will turn messy, manual processes into reliable, scalable systems that directly impact operational speed and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimise data pipelines across multiple sources using BigQuery and dbt Core.
• Design and manage ETL workflows with tools such as Fivetran, integrating data from Shopify, Amazon, advertising platforms, and internal tools.
• Develop and implement automation workflows with n8n to replace repetitive manual tasks.
• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Create systems to detect data inconsistencies and failures, and maintain comprehensive documentation for all pipelines, automations, and data models.
• Identify business inefficiencies and propose scalable, automated solutions, including internal tooling.

Required profile

• Analytical mindset combined with a strong builder orientation.
• Enjoys turning unstructured data and processes into structured, reliable systems.
• Comfortable debugging complex issues and working independently.
• Proactive in identifying automation opportunities across the business.
