Data Analyst - Finance

About the role

Deel is looking for a Finance Data Analyst to partner with product, operations and engineering teams. You will turn complex data into actionable insights that shape product strategy and improve financial workflows for a global payroll platform.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Operations and Development teams to define baselines, success metrics and optimisation recommendations.
• Monitor product and feature release performance, analysing market data and customer behaviour to identify trends.
• Design, execute and evaluate A/B tests that enhance customer journeys.
• Build and maintain self‑service analytics infrastructure, including dashboards and visualisations that drive decision‑making.
• Explore large, complex datasets to generate actionable insights and support strategic planning.
• Develop data models using dbt to ensure reliable, scalable analytics.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with product and engineering teams.
• Proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
