Customer Service Representative

About the role

Uproot Clean is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver high‑quality, human‑focused support at scale. This fully remote position serves pet‑owner customers across email, chat, and social media, ensuring every interaction reflects the brand’s eco‑friendly values.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and respond to customer inquiries via email and support platforms, maintaining speed and accuracy.
• Provide social‑media support by handling DMs and comments on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok while preserving brand tone.
• Process order changes, cancellations, refunds, and exchanges in line with company policies.
• Resolve conflicts with empathy, investigate issues thoroughly, and deliver complete solutions.
• Share recurring feedback with internal teams to help improve products and operations.

Required profile

• Clear, empathetic, and efficient written communication in English.
• Comfortable handling high volumes of interactions and multitasking across platforms.
• Calm under pressure, detail‑oriented, and takes ownership until issues are resolved.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Experience in customer service, preferably ecommerce or direct‑to‑consumer.
• At least 1 year of experience using Shopify.
• Strong written English communication.
• Experience with social‑media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) is a strong plus.

• Monthly salary between $3,000 and $4,000 USD.
