Creative Director

About the role

Dragonfruit is looking for a Creative Director to lead the strategy, production and growth of viral‑educational YouTube channels for high‑profile clients. You will be the primary creative partner, shaping brand positioning, content concepts and visual identity to deliver impactful long‑form videos.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative strategies for client YouTube channels, from research and brand positioning to concept ideation.
• Lead art direction, title and thumbnail design, script optimization, and final video edit reviews.
• Collaborate with producers, post‑production managers, editors and designers to ensure high‑quality output.
• Analyze performance data, run A/B tests, and iterate on packaging to maximize audience growth and engagement.
• Maintain close 1:1 relationships with clients, acting as strategist, artist and coach.

Required profile

• Proven experience creating and scaling successful YouTube channels, preferably in the educational or viral‑content space.
• Strong storytelling sensibility combined with data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑moving startup environment, wearing multiple hats.
