Cost Analyst II – Project Cost Control

About the role

Worley is seeking a Cost Analyst II to join its Project Controls team. The role focuses on planning, monitoring, controlling, and forecasting project costs to ensure delivery within approved budgets and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the project cost baseline aligned with scope and contract.
• Develop and manage budgets, cost breakdown structures (CBS), and control procedures.
• Track actual costs versus budget and forecast (EAC/ETC) and analyse variances.
• Prepare periodic cost reports for internal management and clients.
• Produce accurate cost forecasts and perform scenario analysis.
• Support scope change orders, assess cost impacts, and update budgets accordingly.
• Validate timesheets, cost accruals, and coordinate with Finance and Project Accounting.
• Act as the primary cost control interface with the Project Management Team, discipline leads, finance, and client representatives.
• Apply Worley Project Controls tools and ensure compliance with governance and reporting standards.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 5–10+ years of experience in cost control, project controls or related project services.
