Corporate Affairs Advisor

About the role

The Corporate Affairs Advisor will support the Corporate Affairs Manager in shaping and executing Chevron's local corporate affairs strategy in Argentina. This role focuses on stakeholder engagement, legislative monitoring, and reputation management across municipal, provincial and federal levels.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement stakeholder engagement plans, including mapping and monitoring of legislative agendas.
• Track and follow up on legislative issues at municipal, state and federal levels.
• Prioritize advocacy efforts and support the development of regulatory strategies with government authorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as government officials, legislators, media, NGOs and industry bodies.
• Represent Chevron at provincial industry events and act as spokesperson for local matters.
• Engage community leaders, including mayors of Rincon and Añelo, to support social license initiatives.
• Assist with the implementation of social investment projects in the province.
• Coordinate with the local issues lead to ensure business priorities are reflected in stakeholder communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in political science, communications, law or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in corporate affairs, government relations or similar roles.
• Ability to travel periodically to Neuquen.
• Proven relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English (mandatory).
• Experience in the oil and gas sector is a plus.
