Compliance Sr. Analyst

About the role

The Compliance Sr. Analyst will implement and administer AES Ethics and Compliance programs for AES Servicios América and AES Argentina Generación, focusing on supply‑chain due diligence and supporting procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support third‑party vendor due diligence for all transactions, conducting assessments of business partners, service providers, joint‑venture partners and acquisition targets.
• Work with sourcing buyers to ensure appropriate compliance terms are included in contracts and liaise with regional compliance officers.
• Educate and train employees on anti‑corruption, conflicts of interest, gifts, charitable contributions, political donations, workplace harassment and other compliance risks.
• Collaborate with Legal, Internal Audit, HR, EHS and Finance to resolve issues and mitigate risk.
• Address employee concerns regarding ethics and compliance.

Required profile

• 2+ years of compliance experience in an in‑house, law‑firm or audit‑firm role.
• Legal degree.
• Knowledge of anti‑corruption laws, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
• Fluent English with strong writing, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, able to manage multiple projects and work independently reporting to both AAG Compliance Officer and AES Deputy Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer.
