Compliance Analyst – Regulatory Risk & Vendor Oversight

About the role

The Compliance Analyst supports Assurant's compliance initiatives by performing testing, risk assessments, monitoring, and reporting to ensure adherence to federal, state, and internal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct compliance reviews and risk assessments across departments.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, and training.
• Monitor and analyze new and existing laws, regulations, and policies.
• Investigate compliance issues and partner with internal teams to implement corrective actions.
• Prepare documentation and reports related to compliance testing, risk assessments, and vendor reviews.

Required profile

• 3+ years of progressive experience in compliance, testing, risk management, auditing, or a similar analytical role.
• Knowledge of industry regulations relevant to mortgage, insurance, warranty, service contracts, or financial services.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
