Commercial Controller – Manager (Global Managed Services)

About the role

EY is seeking an experienced Commercial Controller – Manager to join its Global Managed Services (GMx) team. In this strategic position you will combine financial expertise, commercial insight, and stakeholder leadership to ensure the financial success of large, multi‑country engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial and financial strategy for a major global engagement, acting as the primary point of contact for all commercial matters.
• Provide insight‑driven financial reporting aligned with pricing models, business cases, and contractual terms.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities such as margin leakage, under‑pricing, or scope drift and recommend corrective actions.
• Model pricing and financial scenarios to support executive decision‑making and internal fee discussions.
• Strengthen commercial controls, ensure compliance with EY policies, and maintain visibility of global financial performance.
• Influence senior stakeholders with clear commercial guidance and represent the commercial perspective in strategic discussions.
• Coach and mentor junior team members, building capability across the commercial management function.

Required profile

• 10+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Strong ability to influence and build relationships with senior leadership.
• Proven experience managing budgeting, forecasting, month‑end reporting and complex billing structures.
• Solid understanding of P&L concepts, commercial drivers, and cash‑flow management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or Tax; MBA preferred.
• Team leadership and project management experience.
