Collections Analyst – French Speaker

About the role

The Collections Analyst will manage payment collection from delinquent customers, maintain sales ledgers, and help meet monthly accounts‑receivable reduction targets. The role involves regular reporting to collections leaders, supporting SOX compliance, and delivering detailed collection insights to divisional business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails for payment collection.
• Update account statuses, process fund transfers, and follow up on received payments.
• Prepare documentation, process write‑off requests, and request credit notes when needed.
• Clear cash accounts, manage direct‑debit failures, and reconcile banking discrepancies.
• Allocate payments received via BACS, cheque, and credit card; refund over‑payments and credit balances.
• Maintain high data quality and system operation standards.
• Produce team reports, portfolio analysis, and monthly progress updates.
• Participate in projects to improve credit‑management efficiency.
• Provide forecasting and ad‑hoc data analysis for business partners.

Required profile

• 4‑year college degree.
• 2+ years experience in credit, finance, accounting, or customer service.
• Advanced proficiency in English and French.
• Proficiency with SAP.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
