Clinical Research Manager – Ophthalmology CRO

About the role

Join TFS HealthScience’s Ophthalmology team as a Clinical Research Manager (CRM) based in Argentina. You will work alongside passionate professionals to ensure high‑quality delivery of clinical studies for biotechnology and pharmaceutical sponsors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day clinical operations, ensuring compliance with protocol, SOPs, ICH/GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for sponsors, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Lead, train and supervise CRAs, co‑monitor visits and approve monitoring reports.
• Review site performance, protocol deviations, recruitment progress and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain study documentation quality, including TMF, CTMS, monitoring and training plans.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager on planning, investigator payments, resource allocation and revenue forecasting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of clinical monitoring experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Clinical Research Manager with oversight of site and country operations.
• 1+ years of experience in Ophthalmology, preferably retina indications (DME, AMD, GA, RVO, IRDs).
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of ICH/GCP, regulatory requirements and clinical operations processes.
• Ability to lead CRAs, manage study deliverables and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
