About the role

Thales is seeking a Business Developer and Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead growth in Argentina and Uruguay. You will shape the country’s commercial strategy, build strong customer relationships, and drive revenue across our aerospace, transportation, defence, security and space portfolios.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a strategic vision for the market, defining clear business objectives and long‑term growth ambitions.
  • Design, implement and monitor a country growth plan, including market‑share targets, workforce planning, budget allocation and risk management.
  • Lead regular business reviews on order intake, revenue performance, pipeline evolution and action plans.
  • Capture customer insights, translate them into actionable strategies, and ensure a “One Thales” approach across functions.
  • Develop and execute ambitious key‑account plans, partnering with Value & Bid, Capture, Legal, Finance and other groups to secure winning bids.
  • Represent Thales for strategic accounts, manage complex negotiations and maintain executive‑level relationships.
  • Build a high‑performance sales culture, set KPIs, and drive continuous performance monitoring.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in business development or key‑account management within complex, technology‑focused markets.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, digital transformation and competitive positioning.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency required.
