BI Analyst

About the role

Monks is seeking a BI Analyst to design, build, and evolve scalable data solutions for digital marketing and advertising use cases. The role works closely with Media and Solutions Engineering teams and combines client‑facing interaction with internal delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain dashboards, reports and visualisations tracking media campaign performance and KPIs.
• Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, issues and insights.
• Maintain ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) integrating marketing data from DSPs, ad servers and third‑party platforms.
• Implement data quality, governance, auditing and validation rules; establish QA frameworks and automated monitoring tools.
• Work directly with clients and internal teams to configure reports, present findings and support data‑driven decisions.
• Document data solutions for transparency and reproducibility.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes, templates and automation.
• Research and adopt emerging analytics tools and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in analytics, marketing analytics or related analytical techniques.
• Strong SQL skills, including regex functions, CASE expressions and CTEs.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud infrastructure such as Databricks, AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and project management abilities.
• Advanced English proficiency.
