About the role

World Market is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store operations, drive sales, and uphold our unique brand values. You will partner with the Store Manager to lead a high‑performance team and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Model and lead a customer‑first selling culture, including visual standards and loyalty initiatives.
• Analyze business trends and take action to improve sales and profitability.
• Plan and execute daily business tasks, especially in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a customer‑focused team through training, recognition, and performance management.
• Maintain loss‑prevention policies, inventory management, and a safe work environment.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a retail or customer‑facing environment.
• Ability to analyze data and solve business problems.
• Strong communication skills and alignment with World Market’s values.
