Assistant for MELI Extra – Villa María

About the role

Mercado Libre’s MELI Extra team in Villa María is looking for a proactive Assistant to support last‑mile operations. The role is ideal for a logistics‑oriented student who wants hands‑on experience in route planning, driver coordination and performance improvement within a fast‑growing e‑commerce environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and assign daily last‑mile delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Organize and control vehicle dispatches on the operational floor, maintaining accurate records.
• Monitor, support, train and supervise drivers who deliver packages to end customers.
• Track productivity and service indicators, proposing and implementing improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align operational plans with business goals.

Required profile

• Student pursuing a degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Previous experience in transportation or logistics operations is preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency with Excel and Google Suite.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday and every other Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on‑site.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
