Assistant Controller – LATAM (Hybrid, Buenos Aires)

About the role

The LATAM Assistant Controller will join Numerator International’s finance team in Buenos Aires, reporting to the LATAM Regional Controller. This permanent hybrid position focuses on delivering accurate management information, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations, and supporting both internal and external audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver all reporting requirements on time and with high quality, following the reporting calendar.
• Analyse financial data to help business partners understand the impact of decisions.
• Produce routine and ad‑hoc analyses and reports, highlighting areas that need further attention.
• Manage working capital in line with company policy.
• Support implementation of new business processes together with global and regional teams.
• Maintain a robust controls environment in collaboration with internal audit and compliance.
• Assist internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings and recommendations.
• Oversee local tax and VAT filings.
• Lead and develop a small finance team.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Member of a professional accounting body.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of local GAAP; understanding of US GAAP is desirable.
• Experience managing system changes and automation projects.
