Android Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Android Software Engineer to design, develop and enhance native Android applications using a Kotlin‑first stack. You will work closely with product, UX/UI and backend teams in an Agile environment to deliver high‑quality mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑performance native Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create responsive, Material Design‑compliant screens.
• Integrate the app with backend microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code and participate in code reviews.
• Create unit and UI tests to ensure stability and reliability.
• Evaluate and optimise app performance, battery usage, and memory consumption.
• Assist with preparing and releasing updates to the Google Play Store.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in native Android development.
• Strong command of Kotlin and solid understanding of the Android SDK.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Ability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum setup and collaborate with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
